Page 45 - Palavra Viva – 5º Ano EF

Eu tenho uma casa num condomínio com um aspecto meio florestal.
Essa minha casa não fica localizada perto da rua, ela possui um gramado para
frente bem grande e um pequeno no fundo.
Por trás da minha casa tem terrenos que eu achava que eram vazios,
porque eu não via ninguém por lá.
Em uma certa noite eu estava olhando pela janela do meu quarto e vi
algo no terreno ao lado. Era uma mucura. Isso foi uma surpresa, chamei meus
pais para eles verem o bicho também, mas ele tinha ido embora.
Esse visitante foi uma alegria, pois sei que é um ser da natureza.

Today I got a cockatiel, it was bought because we already had two
others, but they used to fight a lot, so we bought another one to separate the
fight and solve the problem.
And it really worked, they stopped fighting. The cockatiel is called
Galileo, he is kind of exotic and it has a gray body, but his head is yellow with
red cheeks. It´s like someone had thrown a bucket of paint on him.
He is very tame, he is the tamest of the three birds. I like it a lot.
